This is a translation of a blog I wrote last week.

Look around you.

I walked down the street today, and as always I am the subject of a lot of staring and weird glances. But I feel fine about this as I chose my style. (Black clothing, trenchcoat and undercut.)

Today wasn't special. I went to the local secondhand market looking for LPs and found a Runrig LP.
On my way to Føtex(Seven note:a supermarket chain that every Dane knows) I had the thought that made me write this blog.
I am not really so exciting that I am worth more glances than everyone else around me.

Why look at the young guy in black when you can look at the elderly lady in a charming jacket, shoppingbags in her hands and the wisdom of her lifetime in every wrinkle in her face, the joy of life in her eyes and the warmth in her smile.
You could look at the little kid whose innocence is painted on his face with a giant smile and a radiance that will melt your heart.
Or what about the middle-aged man in a nice set of clothes, a well kept beard and a smile that will reassure you that the world really isn't that bad.
There are so many exciting people in this world if you look around you.

Why am I worth more intense glances than these people?
These people are a source of infinite amusement to me because every time I go outside, I see life going on.
So if you see me in the street and grant me a glance, know that I will look at you just the same.
